Order Payments
Reef Octopus Australia currently accepts cash, direct deposits, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and cheques for payment of orders. All payments must be cleared before goods are shipped. We are currently unable to receive credit card payments. However, for the convenience of our customers, in the near future this facility will become available. Please check back soonÂ…
Damaged Shipments
All good received in damaged condition must be reported to our office WITHIN 48 hours of receipt. Please use the details on our Connect Page to notify us of any damaged products that you receive. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in denial of credit. Please be sure that you have received all cartons you are signing for, and that none are damaged.
Product Warranty Information
Our products are warranted against defective material and manufacturing faults for 5 years for non-moving parts and 12 months for moving parts from date of purchase (original owner - not transferable). Reef Octopus Australia agrees to repair or replace, without charge to the owner, parts proved to be defective within the warranty period. We assume no liability for breach of the warranty beyond the correcting breach in the manner described above. Our limited warranty will be void if the damage is cause by misuse, negligence, accident, alteration, modification and/or unauthorized repair. Our warranty does not cover transportation, handling or delivery charges incurred in the delivery of the product to and from our service center. For proof of purchase, original receipt from our retailers must be sent with the faulty products.
Shipping Information
All orders are shipped via TNT for interstate bulky orders or Couriers Please and Fastway for local orders and are packaged in heavy duty packaging to ensure your products arrive in top condition. Upon order processing, we email to you the courier tracking number along with a copy of the invoice. Small orders (in stock) are generally shipped the same business day or the following business day. Large orders (in stock) are generally shipped within one week or sooner of confirmation of order. In the event of a back order, we will contact you via email and/or phone to keep you up to date with your purchase. Shipping charges vary with the size of the order and the customer location. Trading Hours
We are open for business five days a week, 9.30am to 5pm weekdays. If these hours are not convenient for you, please contact us and we can work out an alternate time or method of facilitating your business.
Customer Privacy
Reef Octopus Australia endeavours to maintain as much relevant and up to date information on our clients as possible for your convenience. This information is only used by Reef Octopus Australia for such uses as order history and for any further contact that is required with the client. We keep this information in a secure fashion and do not in anyway way release this information to anyone for any external purposes.
