Double Venturi make automation simple 10-Sep-2009 Selected models in the new Module range will now feature the Double Venturi innovation.
This will allow for the combo Modules to star without any intervention compared to the the previous generation of modules, which needed the hobbyist to suck the air out of the outlet tube to start the siphon flow.
The Double Venturi starts the Siphon flow automatically, allowing the hobbyist more time to enjoy the aquarium. |

Octopus is looking to new designs and better improvements of the BioLife Aquariums and until better designs and improvements are made, there will be no more tanks available.

2008 Design improvements 23-Apr-2008 Octopus has made design improvements across our range of skimmers. All 2008 model skimmers now feature all new exclusive Octopus Venturi and Quick Release union. These significant changes improve on performance and user friendliness.
New Octopus Venturi:
The previous generation of venturi design distributes air along one point of the water pipe. The improved design disburses air along the entire circumference of the water pipe resulting in more fine streaming into the reaction chamber.
New Quick Release union :
In 2007, our users reported they wanted easier access to the reaction chamber for cleaning and overall less complex usage of their skimmers. The Quick release union makes maintaining your system a breeze. No more screws. Just lift and go.

BioLife Aquariums Now Available! 27-Apr-2007 Reef Octopus Australia now has a range of aquariums for all reefers. We call this new range BioLife Aquariums and is available in two main types, curved front glass and straight front glass.
All BioLife Aquariums use quality black silicone and are available in a choice of four colours:
- Black and white for those with modern furniture and want a clean look
- Mahogany and Beech for those whom would like a taste of modern styling but are classics at heart
Currently available in three sizes: - 3ft (100cm wide)
- 4ft (124cm wide)
- 5ft (155cm wide)
BioLife Aquariums comes with a black Perspex weir, glass sump with filter media and sponge as well as two lifeguard bulkheads and piping.
The sump is designed to accommodate Octopus skimmers and the hood fits Octopus LiteMaster T5HO lights, but other products can be used.
